A memorial service will be held for retired Corporate Pilot Charles E. Smith, age 91, of Paris, TN will be conducted on Thursday, August 5, 2010 at 12 Noon at McEvoy Funeral Home with Military Honors; John Holcomb of Trinity United Methodist Church will officiate.
Mr. Smith was born in Storm Lake, Iowa, December 22, 1918 to the late Howard A. and Fredda A. Smith both preceded. Wife Lola Sweetwood Smith, son, Charles H. Smith and two sisters also precede him.
Charles was a WWII Navy Veteran with Ten years of service with a final rank of Chief Petty Officer. Mr. Smith retired from International Mining and Chemical where he was a corporate pilot.
