Retired iron worker and member of Iron Workers Local 782, Charles "Charlie" Edward Winters, age 66, of Henry, TN passed away Tuesday August 18, 2015 at his residence.
His funeral service will be Thursday August 20,2015 10:00AM at McEvoy Funeral Home with David Irby officiating, burial will follow at Memorial Cemetery with military honors.
Visitation 4:00 - 8:00PM Wednesday and after 9:00AM Thursday.
Named as pallbearers are Kevin Wright, Matt Winters, Micky Crouch, Ricky Crouch, Jeff Crouch, Jimmy Winters, Danny Trotter, Justin Whitworth and J.P. Davis. Honorary pallbearers will be his motorcycle and dancing friends.
He was born in Paris, TN to the late E.P. and Bertie McBride Winters. On December 4, 2010 he married Patricia Irby Winters, she survives.

Preceded by sisters-in-law: Pam Winters, Debbie Winters; brothers-in-law: Billy Burden and Joe Trotter.
Charlie was a member of Henry Baptist Church. He was a U.S. Army Veteran serving in Vietnam. An avid fisherman and dancer who also enjoyed riding motorcycles. A family member said that after retirement Charlie became known as a "handyman" and loved to do odd jobs to help others.
