Mr. Clayton Lamb, age 81, of Paris, Tennessee passed away on Sunday, September 29, 2019 at Weakley County Nursing Home. His funeral service will be 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, October 2, 2019 at McEvoy Funeral Home with Pastor Trish Trull officiating. Burial will follow the service in Walker Cemetery. Named as pallbearers are Bubba Sparks, Butch Lamb, Jeff Lamb, Gary Cardona, Rex Nance, and Tony Nance. Visitation is scheduled at McEvoy on Tuesday from 4:00 until 7:00 P.M. and again on Wednesday after 9:00 A.M. until service time at 11:00. Clayton Lamb was born on June 13, 1938 to the late Lois Lamb and the late Mary Lou West Lamb. He married Phyliss Taliaferro Lamb on April 22, 1961 and she preceded him in death on April 21, 2010. He is survived by his daughter, Cindy Lou (Randy) Wade of Buchanan; sisters, Sue Orzwczyk of Puryear, Peggy Newsome of Cold Water, Kentucky and Mary Lois Wright of Paris; Grandson, Mark Randall (Terri Lynn) Hendrix of Paris; great grandchildren, Marlee Jo Shell and Rylee Ann Shell; numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. Besides his parents and wife, Mr. Lamb is also preceded by daughters, Amanda Leigh Lamb (who died in infancy), Clatty Ann Lamb Curd (Feb. 28, 1995); brothers, Billy, Staton and Dennis Lamb. Mr. Lamb was an active member of Buchanan United Methodist Church. He worked and retired from Holley Carburetor and later worked and retired from First Baptitst Church in Paris.
