He was born in Yarnaby, OK to the late Lee and Josie Denton Swindle. On January 14, 1966 he married Nancy Carol Gaither Swindle, she survives in Paris.
Survived by a daughter: Tracy (Ray) Williams, Utah; son: Michael Swindle, Paris; grandchildren: Sabrina Swindle, Cassie Shawl, Skye Cutler, Devin Swindle and Makayle Courtright.
