Concetta "Connie" Martin

Concetta “Connie” R. Martin, age 80, of Paris, TN, passed away on Saturday, July 4, 2026, at her residence. Her funeral service will be held at 12:00 P.M. Thursday, July 9, 2026 at McEvoy Funeral Home, with Wendell Owen officiating. Burial will follow services in Bethesda Cemetery. Named as pallbearers are, Joshua White, Payton White, Damion White, Dallas Owen, Kaden Owen, and Howard Hardy; with honorary pallbearers, Kameron Owen, Cody Jacobs, and Keith Templin.

Visitation with Connie’s family is planned on Thursday, after 10:00 A.M. until time of the service.

Concetta Rose Bartel was born to the late Howard Lyle Young and Edna Mae Reynolds. She married James V. Martin on April 17, 1999, and he preceded her in death on February 14, 2022. Connie is also survived by her daughters, Tammy (Howard) Hardy of Holladay, TN and Florence Kennedy of Murray, KY; sons, Robert Kennedy of Olean, New York and Edward (Taunya) Kennedy of Titus, AL; sister, Gloria Jackman, of Comy, PA; grandchildren, Brandy (Dallas) Owen; Josh Montouri, Ronnie (Ashley) Hardy; Michelle (Joshua) White; Karsey & Elizabeth LeCrone; Crystal (Gene) Carter; Rebecca (Calvin) Haynes; Nathan (Cheyene) Mayo; Amanda (Sterling) Albrecht; Taunja, Sabrina, Brandon, & Breanna Kennedy; Anna (Austin) Basham; Kevin, Curtis, & Kristina Kennedy; Roseann & Jimmy McCutcheon; Angel (Matt) Mueller; and Lance Hardy; along with 34 great grandchildren; other family members and friends.

Mrs. Martin is also preceded in death by her daughter, Vicki McCutcheon; sisters, Susan Emigh and Linda Saxman; brothers, Bill Young, Danny Young, Steve Young, Delbert Bartella, Tom Young, and Paul Young.
