Mrs. Daisy Lee Milan age 86, Paris, TN, died Friday, May 6, 2011 at her residence. Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, May 14, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. in the McEvoy Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Maplewood Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday evening at McEvoy Funeral Home from 6-8 p.m. Rev. Andre Richardson of Mt. Zion Baptist Church will officiate. Richard Peete, Lee Yeager, Preneaty Williams, Tyrail Jackson, Anthoney Milan and Angelo Milan will serve as pallbearers. Daisy was born on April 6, 1925 in Forney, TX to the late Rev. J.W. James William and Daisy Beulah Breckinridge Harrison. She married on April 17, 1965 to Charles Richard Milan Sr.; he preceded her in death on June 28, 1993. She is survived by a daughter; Jacqueline Sue Milan, Los Angles, CA, son; Charles R. Milan Jr., Texarkana, TX., grandchildren; Jerrell, Courtney, Riha, Daisha, and Maya Milan, great grandchild; Prince Pegee. She is also survived by a number of nieces, nephews, Godson; Peter and Mark Kennedy, Goddaughter; Pam Stewart. She is preceded by brothers; Albert Williams and Ardis Harrison. Daisy was a member of Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church where she served on the Mothers Board. She was a homemaker and raised her children in Zion, IL; she had been a resident of Paris since 1994.
