Dale Hastings

Dale Hastings, age 71, of Paris, passed away on Wednesday, August 19, 2026, at his residence. His funeral service will be on Saturday, August 22, 2026, at 2:00 pm at McEvoy Funeral Home, with Carlton Gerrell officiating. Visitation will begin at McEvoy Funeral Home on Saturday at 11:00 am and continue until service time at 2:00 pm. Honorary Pallbearers will be Randy Hendrix, Larry Hastings, Bobby Smith, Luke Crawford, Ronnie Ristucci, and Dalton Watson.

Dale Hastings was born on April 7, 1955, in Paris, TN, to the late James Franklin “Slim” and Evelyn Tucker Hastings. On January 1, 1997, he married Pam Hastings, and she survives him in Paris.

Dale attended Tennessee Valley Community Church. He loved to hunt, and he loved his Henry County Patriot Football.

In addition to his wife, Dale is also survived by his daughters: Judy (Ron) Ristucci and Jennifer (Luke) Crawford, all of Paris; grandchildren: Tiffany Turner (Blake Jones), Heather Nance (Jeremy Allen), Lacy (Dalton) Watson, Brittany (James) Weinzapfel, Isabella Phifer (Justin Blankenship), Logan Crawford, and John Thomas Crawford; sister, Dorothy Lindsey of Chicago, IL; brothers; Larry (Beverly) Hastings of Camden and Bobby (Vicki) Smith of Paris; nine great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Besides his parents, Dale was also preceded in death by sisters Helen Gandini and Mary Sue Payne, and brothers: Gilbert, George, and David Hastings, and Bill and Gene Smith.
