Former brick mason and Henry resident, Danny Preben Hilt, 59, passed away at his residence Thursday April 2, 2015 following a terminal illness. Visitation will be Sunday April 12, 2015 11:00AM until time of his memorial service at 3:00PM at McEvoy Funeral Home. He was born July 6, 1955, in East St. Louis, IL, to the late Charles Edward and Violet Kay Calhoun Hilt. He married Donna Sue Woolford Hilt December 9, 1978, she survives. Family members said he was a loving husband, father and grandfather. Survived by daughters: Linda Buie, Paris, ReGina Hilt, Paris, Danielle (Joe Dinkins) Hilt, Paris; sons: Danny (Christy) Allen, McKenzie, Kevin (Kari) Hilt, Henry; sisters: Kathy Hilt, Lexington, KY, Toni (Danny) Brockwell, McKenzie, Tina Hilt, New Concord, KY; a brother: Steve (Sarah) Hilt, Puryear; grandchildren: Violet Hayes Hilt, Alexis Riley Hilt, Summer Morgan Hilt, Astrid Preben Dinkins, Gage Dinkins, Abriel Buie, Ariel Allen; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. He was preceded by a brother: Chuck Hilt.
