Danny Joe Owen

Mr. Owen died Tuesday at the Volunteer Community Hospital in Martin, TN. His service will be Thursday September 21st, 2:00 P.M., McEvoy Funeral Home Chapel with burial in New Bethel Cemetery, visitation will be Wednesday 4:00 until 8:00 and after 11:00 Thursday. He is survived by his wife Shirley Wallace Owen of Gleason, His Father Dewey Owen of Henry, Step-daughter Kim(Bill) Parker, Dresden, TN, Step-son Dean (JoReba) O'Daniel Paris, Sister Norma Ann (Tommy) Rock, Guntown, Ms, Brothers Roy Gene (Janice) Owen, Henry, David (Brooksie) Owen, McKenzie, Wendell (Alica) Owen, New Johnsonville, Walter Owen, Paris and Five Step-grandchildren, preceded by his Mother Mary Frances Tucker Owen December 7, 1996, and a sister-in-law Sue Owen. Mr. Owen was a Baptist, a gospel and country musician as well as a songwriter and a member of the Wildwood Band. He was a mobile home escort with Champion Homes of Henry.
