Funeral service for Darlis will be Monday June 23, 2008 11:00 A.M. McEvoy Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday 4:00 until 8:00 and after 8:30 Monday. The daughter of Dale and Laura Brown Gargus both preceded, formerly married to Lee York of Paris. She is survived by daughters: Norma (John) Nelson, Bruceton, Brenda Helms, Puryear, Jennifer (Allen) Dunn, Murray, KY, Crystal (Mark) Kendall, Murray, KY, Rhonda (Joey) Gertsch, Paris, TN; son: Jerry (Amy) Gilbert, Puryear; brohters: Robert Scott, Clarksville, TN, Bruce Gargus Buchanan, TN; and Nineteen grandchildren; preceded by sisters: Norma Faye Gargus, MaryLea Cooper; brother; Jerald Joe Gargus; grandchildren: Ozzy Helms and Austin Jeffrey. She was a homemaker and attended Grove School.
