Dartha Linville "Dot" Barton, age 90 of Paris, TN, passed away Tuesday March 1, 2016 at Henry County Healthcare in Paris. Funeral service 2:00PM Saturday March 5, 2016 at McEvoy Funeral Home with Bro. John Dale of Glendale Church of Christ officiating, burial will be at Hillcrest Memorial Park. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Visitation 12:00Noon until service time Saturday. She was born in Calloway County, KY to the late George E. and Bess Taylor Linville. On November 16, 1946 she married James Buford Barton, he preceded July 5, 2010. Survived by a son: Bobby (Karen) Barton, Paris, TN; grandson: Lee (Larissa Morningstar) Barton, Henderson, TN and several nieces and nephews. Preceded by a sister: Sue Salmon and a brother: Garvin Linville. Mrs. Barton was a longtime member of East Wood Church of Christ. She was a retired bookkeeper from the Paris Livestock Commission and from Joe and Jerry's Car Care Center. She also formerly worked at East Wood Clinic.
