Mr. David Lee Boane, age 47, of Mission, TX, formerly of Paris, TN died Friday at his residence. A memorial service will be held Sunday, May 8, 2011 at 2:30 p.m. at the Gleason Civic Center with the scattering of ashes to follow at Sunset Cemetery in Dresden, TN. Davis was born June 5, 1963 in McKenzie, TN to G.W. and Vera Fay Barlow Boane who preceded him in death. He is survived by companion; June Doyle, Mission, TX, sisters; Betty Boane, Paris, TN, Joan Boane, Martin, TN, Bobbi Ann (Ricky Lynn) Smith, Paris, TN, Wanda Sue Gosneil, Dresden, TN and brother; Ricky Lee Boane, Henry, TN. David was a member of Beech Springs Baptist Church in Gleason, TN. Mr. Boane was employed with various sawmills in the county including Middleton and Alton Hollingsworth. He had also worked construction at the Jackson Hospital.
