David L. Carpenter, age 79 of Paris passed away Thursday, December 6, 2018 at his residence. His memorial service will be 10:00 AM Saturday, December 15, 20108 at Thompson Creek Baptist Church in Como with Bro. Kerry Shopher of Rolston Baptist Church and Bro. Billy Ross of Thompson Creek Baptist Church officiating. David L. Carpenter was born October 12, 1939 in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Noah Erwin Carpenter and the late Minnie Louise McCleary Carpenter. On December 6, 1974 he married Gladys E. Stewart Carpenter and she survives in Paris. He is also survived by three daughters: Penni Louise Carpenter of Plymouth, IN, Becky (Kim) Cramer of Elkhart, IN and Tina (Matthew) Mikels of Warsaw, IN; one son, David Erwin (Dawn) Carpenter of Bremen, IN; two sisters: Mary Louise Muncy and Nora (Phil) Gamble; thirteen grandchildren; and twenty-three great grandchildren. Besides his parents, Mr. Carpenter was also preceded in death by a daughter, Diane Lynn Carpenter; and a sister, Jeanie Friebe. Mr. Carpenter was a member of Thompson Creek Baptist Church. SERVICES
