David Big Mountain, age 49 of Puryear passed away Wednesday, July 19, 2023 at Henry County Medical Center. His body is to be cremated and a celebration of life will be scheduled at a later date. David formerly worked at Industrial Bearings and he was a member of North Fork Baptist Church in Puryear. David Big Mountain was born December 21, 1973 in Johnson City, TN to the late William "Billy" Big Mountain and the late Melanie Mitchell. On January 14, 1996 he married Holly Big Mountain and she survives in Puryear. In addition to his wife, David is also survived by his son, Beau (Samantha) Big Mountain of Big Sandy; grandchildren, Luca & Sadie Big Mountain; and numerous other family members and friends.
