David Jones Wofford, age 80, Paris, TN, died October 13, 2008 at his residence. His funeral will be 2:00 PM October 15th at McEvoy Funeral Home with burial to follow in Woffords Cemetery in Stewart County. Visitation will be from 5:00 - 8:00 PM Tuesday and after 12 noon on Wednesday. He is survived by two daughters, Elsie (Doug) Parker, Jacksonville, NC and Kay dowell, Paris, TN. He was preceded by one daughter, Carolyn Ann Wofford and one son, David Lee Wofford. He is also survived by six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
