Deborah Lynn Owens Jones, age 66 of Springville, Tennessee passed away Sunday, January 10, 2021 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Huntingdon. Her funeral service will be 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at McEvoy Funeral Home with Pastor Marcus McClure and Pastor Everett Holloway officiating. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Burial will follow services in Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be on Tuesday after 1:00 P.M. until time of service. Deborah Lynn Jones was born September 28, 1954 in East St. Louis, Illinois to the late Farris Owens and the late Doris Ellegood (Randal) Brown. She is survived by her daughter, Lee Ellen Jones Smothers of Springville, TN; sons, Scottie Jones of Union City and Tony Jenkins of Watervalley, Kentucky; grandchildren, Dylan and Jasmine Smothers; Morgan, Shelby, Makenzi and Caleb Jones; Audrey and Lauren Jenkins; three great-grandchildren; five sisters; two brothers; numerous nieces, nephews and other family members. Besides her parents, Deborah is also preceded in death by one sister and three brothers. Deborah was a Christian by faith. The family requests that memorials be made to Deborah's sweet friend, Katlyn Gibbons, who is serving as a missionary in Honduras.
