Dennille Johnson age 45 of Cottage Grove, TN passed away Monday, December 12, 2022, at Henry County Medical Center. His funeral service will be Monday, December 19th at 12:00 PM at McEvoy Funeral Home, 507 W. Washington St. in Paris with Rev. Kenneth Humphreys officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be at McEvoy Funeral Home after 10:00 AM on Monday prior to the service. Pallbearers for Dennille will be Shane Porter, Brian Milliken, Carlos McCutcheon, Keenan Kendall, Josh Sutton, and Brian Michael. Dennille Johnson was born January 19, 1977, in Paris, TN to the late Charles Curtis Blakemore and Barbara Ann Johnson of Cottage Grove, TN. On June 20, 2010, he married Becky Johnson-Resto who also survives in Cottage Grove, TN. In addition to his mother and wife, Dennille is also survived by two sons: Isaiah D. Johnson and Jamaree C.M. Johnson both of Cottage Grove, TN; sister, Tanny Johnson of Paris, TN; three brothers: Cortez (Angie) Thompson of Paris, TN, Franiek Johnson of Cottage Grove, TN, and Tyrone Kendall of Puryear, TN; in-laws, Ana R. (Manuel) Resto of Killeen, TX; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members. Dennille was affectionately known as "House" by his close friends and family. He loved to cook and his family considered him a wonderful chef. He was also a people person and was a very positive and uplifting force for all who met him. Dennille's biggest desire was for all to have peace and get along with one another.
