Dennis G. Griffin

Dennis G. Griffin, age 87, of Paris, Tennessee, passed away on Friday, October 16, 2026, at Cherrywood Acute/ McKenzie Health and Rehab. His body is to be cremated, and his ashes will be placed in a niche at Parkers Crossroads Tennessee Veterans Cemetery.

Dennis was born on October 1, 1939, in North Platte, Nebraska, to the late Joseph Griffin and the late Melba Kesterson Griffin. He married Barbara Parker Griffin on June 21, 1958, and she survives in Paris. Dennis is survived by his daughter, Diane (Jim) Williamson of Springville, TN; sons, Michael (Mary) Griffin of Donaldson, TN and Mark (Wendy McKenzie) Griffin of Paris; grandchildren, Richard (Marcia) Griffin, Stephanie Griffin, Wayne (Tabbitha) Casey, Christa (Brittany) Jones; six great-grandchildren; sister, Barbara Jill (Steve) Roane of Netarts, OR; brothers, Joseph K. (June) Griffin, Redmond, OR, John P. (Judy) Griffin of Tulsa, OK, and Bill (Cindi Lou) Griffin of Arco, ID; and by his sister-in-law, Billie Jean Griffin of Roseburg, OR.

Mr. Griffin is preceded in death by his brother, Thomas Ray Griffin.

Dennis was a Christian by faith. He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran with twenty years of service to his country. Mr. Griffin worked as an over-the-road truck driver for many years before retiring.
