Mr. Adams of Puryear, TN died at the Gibson County Memorial Hospital in Trenton, TN Wednesday evening. Funeral Service will be Saturday May 20, 2006 2:00 P.M. at the Buchanan United Methodist Church with burial to follow in Bethel Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday 4:00 until 8:00 and Saturday 11:00 to 1:00 at McEvoy Funeral Home. Mr. Adams is survived by his wife Mary Jane Cacicia Adams, two daughters Debbie (Michaeal) Shoulders, Maria (Johnny) Richardson, one son Rubin (Debbie) Adams, two sisters Meta (Barney) Knight, Cynthella (Jimmy Joe) Stewart, Brother-In-Law Kenneth Valentine, two brothers Sherrell (Joan) Adams, Keith Adams, nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren. he was preceded by a son Neil Adams at age 6, one sister Annetta Valentine, two brothers Harry (Katy) Adams, Wayne (Sarah) Adams and a sister-in-law Delma Adams. He was a Korean War Veteran, Navy, Retired US Navy, Retired public education Springville School where he served as Girls Basketball Coach, retired in 1990, also taught in Clarksville 1971-1979 at Woodlawn Elementary, member of the Buchanan United Methodist Church. Memorials may be made to the Parkinson's Disease Foundation or to the charity of your choice.
