Dianna K. Maddox, age 79 of Paris passed away on Thursday, December 30, 2021 at her residence. Her funeral service will be held at McEvoy Funeral Home, 2:00 P.M. Friday, January 7, 2022 with Dr. Trent Bullock and Bro. Todd Henson both of First Baptist Church to officiate. Burial will follow in Memorial Cemetery. Named as Pallbearers are Rod James, Joe Oliver, Brock Maddox, Preston Maddox, Jerry Maddox and Milton Peale; Honorary Pallbearers, John Cleaver and Drew James. Visitation that was previously scheduled for Thursday from 4:00 until 7:00 P.M. has been cancelled due to the weather. Visitation will now begin after 11:00 A.M. Friday until service time at 2:00 P.M. Dianna K. Maddox was born August 2, 1942 in Murray, Kentucky to the late Hubern Wayne Ferguson and the late Shellie Williams Ferguson. She married Homer Maddox on April 14, 1962 and he survives in Paris. She is also survived by William Kent (Kelli) Maddox of Ooltewah, Tennessee and Kirk (Kelly) Maddox of Calvert City, Kentucky; grandchildren, Paige (Jameson) McWhorter, Brock Maddox, and Preston Maddox. Besides her parents, Mrs. Maddox is also preceded in death by her sister, Linda Turner. Mrs. Maddox was a longtime member of First Baptist Church in Paris where she served as Director of Deaf Ministries. "Ms. Dianna" was a Special Education Teachers Assistant and School Bus Driver for the Paris Special School District for over 30 years.
