Ernest "Don" Rogers, age 84 of Springville, TN, passed away Wednesday, May 14, 2025, at Patriot Health & Rehab in Paris. His funeral service will be at 11:00 am Saturday, May 24th, at McEvoy Funeral Home with Mitch Fiscus officiating. Burial will follow in Poplar Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be after 10:00 am Saturday, May 24th, at McEvoy Funeral Home prior to the service at 11:00. Ernest Don Rogers was born January 30, 1941, in Springville, TN, to the late Robert Ernest and Mattie Modelle Hughes Rogers. Mr. Rogers received his masters degree in education from Murray State University. He taught elementary school in Humboldt, TN, for 29 years. He was a member of Jones Chapel Baptist Church. He served the Lord faithfully in many ways, including teaching a senior adult Sunday school class for several years.
