Donald V. Neubauer, 84, born September 14, 1939, to Loyal and Marjory (Hansen) Neubauer, passed away July 6, 2024, at St. Thomas Midtown Hospital, Nashville. Don graduated from Winneconne High School in 1957, and from Fox Valley Technical College after studying Power Engineering. He married Janet McCunn on September 20, 1958. They had two children, Andrea Morton and Griffen Neubauer. Janet predeceased him in March 2006 of ALS. He married Robyn Stark Theune on July 21, 2007. Don was also preceded in death by his father Loyal, mother Marjory, sister Sandra (Jerome) Thern, and son-in-law Steven Morton. He is survived by his wife Robyn, children Andrea Morton (Jeff Zachow), and Griffin Neubauer (Sylvia), grandchildren Kaitlin Springborn (Peter), Charles Morton, Logan and Gabriella Neubauer, and great-grandchildren Harper, Wrenley, and Eisen Springborn, as well as stepsons Mike and Brian Hayes, Texas. Don worked proudly for 33 years at Neenah Joint School District, where he helped organize and served as union president of Neenah Educational Support Personnel. He was an avid sports enthusiast. He loved baseball, and golf, and was an avid Packer fan. His celebration of life will be from 4:00-6:00 pm Thursday, July 25, 2024, at Westgor Funeral Home, 205 W. Doty Ave. in Neenah, WI 54956. Per his wishes, Don was cremated. Inurnment will take place at St. Margaret Cemetery in Neenah. No local services are planned, and McEvoy Funeral Home handles local arrangements.
