There will be visitation Tuesday 4:00 - 8:00 PM at McEvoy Funeral Home with burial at Pilgram Cemetery in Holland, Michigan. Named as honorary pallbearers are: Richard Lant, Warren Lant(Deceased), Charles Weber, Jeffery Lant, Robert Lant, Timothy Lant, Jamey Tosh and Johnathan Tosh. Mrs. Lant was born Feburay 4, 1918 in Otsego, Michigan to Cecil Wilder Davis, preceded 1980 an Mildred Helena Hilliard Davis, preceded 1995. She married Alfred M. Lant June 17, 1943, he preceded May 2003. Survived by a daughter: Alonna (Jimmy) Tosh, Henry, TN; sons: Alan Lant (JoAnn Weber), Santa Rosa, California, Dr. Thomas (Luca) Lant, Colessano, Italy; a sister: Dixie (Warren) Hile, Jensen Beach, Florida; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded by one grandchild. She attended Andrews University studying in pre-nursing and completed one year of nurses training at Hinsdale Hospital, Hinsdale, Illinois. She was a school library assistant in Kalamazoo Public School System. Mrs. Lant had formerly lived in Holland and Kalamazoo, Michigan before residing in McKenzie, TN.
