Doris Ann Bowden, age 80, died October 24, 2009 at Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville. A memorial service will be held October 31, 2009 at 1:00 PM in McEvoy Funeral Home Chapel. Her husband, Robert G. Bowden survives. They were married March 20, 1959. She is also survived by daughter, Phyllis Little, Huron, TN, son, Searcy "Mac" Doss, Knoxville, TN and preceded by daughter, Pamela Scott. Survived by two brothers, James H. Bates, and Jerry D. Bates, Camden, TN, preceded by brother Ross H. Bates. Six grandchildren, Brian Scott, Donna Palmer, Samantha Torres, Clind Doss, Chris Little, Alicia Little Jones and ten great grandchildren survice and one preceded.
