Dorothy Medlock Johnson, age 88 of Paris passed away Tuesday, March 31, 2020 at Henry County Healthcare Center. The family will have a private service with Gary Collier officiating and burial will follow at Poplar Grove Cemetery. There will be no public visitation. Dorothy Medlock Johnson was born March 31, 1932 in Springville, Tennessee to the late Milton Medlock and the late Pauline Maddox Medlock. On June 20, 1959 she married Paul Edward Johnson and he preceded her in death on April 28, 1983. Mrs. Johnson is survived by her daughter, Clara (Mike) Williams of Puryear; three grandchildren: Brandon (Heather) Barker, Brandy (Ryan) Thomas, and Misty (Joel) Crosno; three great grandchildren: Leah Crosno, Gabe Barker, and Brena Barker; three sisters: Clara Dowdy, Jean (John) Oliver, and Betty Smith, all of Paris; and one brother, Dwayne (Dell) Medlock of Springville. Besides her parents and husband, Mrs. Johnson was also preceded in death by a daughter, Paula Hudson on July 21, 2018; and a brother, Paul Medlock on March 1, 2007. Dorothy Johnson was a homemaker who enjoyed her flowers and working in her yard.
