Dorothy Jean 'Dot' Mcgehee Jones

Funeral Service for Mrs. Jones will be at 2:00 PM Thursday, McEvoy Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Public Well Cemetery Martin, TN, visitation 4:00 to 8:00 PM Wednesday and after 12:00 Thursday. She is survived by her husband Marion Jones of McKenzie, TN, they were married July 27, 1946, daughters; Diane (Denny) Updyke, McKenzie, Darlene (Doug) Woodman, Paris, sons; Richard Jones, Traverse City, MI, Jeffrey A. Jones, McKenzie, sister; Norma Peden, Tupelo, MS, brother; Don (Dot) McGehee, Martin, grandchildren; Mark (Andrea) Woodman, Marty(Cindy)Woodman, Tommy (Kelly) Updyke, Julie Updyke, Monica (Chris) Jones, Chad (Amanda) Updyke, Gunnery Sergeant Jeffrey J. Jones, great-grandchildren; Brandon Woodman, Adam Woodman, Justin Woodman, Mariah Woodman, Taylor Woodman, Katie Woodman, Christiano Ramos, Chase Updyke, Chandler Updyke, Hunter Updyke, Jake Updyke, Cameron Updyke, great great- grandson; Payton Woodman, nieces and nephews. Preceded by her parents Wallace and Myrtle Cannon McGehee. Dot was a member of the New Life Baptist Church, Henry, TN, she and her husband lived in Lansing, MI and moved back to Tennesse in 1975. She was a retired LPN having worked at Oak Manor Nursing Home at McKenzie, Hillview Nursing Home at Dresden and Henry County Medical Center.
