She was born in Wynne, Arkansas to the late Robert and Mary Alice Yates Cornwell. She married John Thomas Jones September 6, 1954, he preceded October 5, 2003. Survived by a daughter: Debra Kay Jones, Paris; sons: John Thomas Jones, Jr., Paris, Steve (Tammy) Jones, Paris; sisters: Pearlene Fields, Wynne, AR, Peggy Taylor, Paris; brother: Robert (Peggy) Cornwell, Wynne, AR and a grandchild: Brandon Boyd, Paris. Preceded by three sisters: Mary Lou Bucy, Rea Spears and Thelma Adams and a brother: John Henry Cornwell. She was a member of the Springhill Baptist Church.
