Dorothy Mae Muzzall, age 94 of Paris passed away Wednesday, December 7, 2022, at her residence. Her funeral service will be Saturday, December 10, 2022, at 1:00 PM at McEvoy Funeral Home, 507 W. Washington Street in Paris with Joe Shannon officiating. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation with the family will begin at 11:00 AM Saturday prior to the service at 1:00 PM at McEvoy Funeral Home. Pallbearers for Ms. Muzzall will be Rex Ruddle, Thomas Muzzall, Jeremy Muzzall, and Rob Underwood. Dorothy Mae Muzzall was born June 8, 1928, in Paris, TN to the late Fayne Harrison Edgar and the late Pearl Trotter Edgar. On October 10, 1945, she married Furman W. Muzzall and he preceded her in death on February 26, 1987. Dorothy was a member of Jones Chapel Baptist Church. She liked fishing, squirrel hunting, and playing dominoes. Dorothy Mae is survived by two daughters: Gloria Arndt of Paris, TN and Susie Muzzall of Jackson, TN; son Furman (Linda) Muzzall, Jr. of Clarksville, TN; four grandchildren: Rachel (Rex) Ruddle, Angela Ball, Thomas Muzzall, and Jeremy (Paula) Muzzall; ten great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends including her special friend and caregiver, Charlene Pollack.
