Funeral service 2:00PM Friday at McEvoy Funeral Home with Bro. Douglas Nash, her husband, Bro. Jerry Nash, her son and Bro. Tom Winchester of Union Friendship Baptist Church officiating, burial will follow at Olive Branch Cemetery. Named as pallbearers are Jeremy Powers, Troy Rutland, Cody Stewart, Ricky Nash, Joe Pat Moody and Donald Bennett. Visitation 4:00 - 8:00PM Thursday and after 12:00 Noon Friday. She was born in Henry County to the late Johnnie Melvin and Madria Mae Bennett Ivie. On January 18, 1947 she married Douglas Nash, he survives in Paris. Survived by daughters: Sylvia Nash, Paris, Carol (Junior) Powers, Paris; son: Jerry (Ruth) Nash, Cookeville, TN; grandchildren: Tammy (Troy) Powers-Rutland, Jeremy (Jill) Powers, Sarah (Cody) Nash and Rebekah Nash. Preceded by sisters: Rachel Conklin and Gertrude McQuistion; two brothers: Watson and John Ivie. She was a member of Union Friendship Baptist Church. Her husband said she loved the Lord, her family, was a faithful Christian and faithful pastor's wife.
