Funeral services for Mrs. Dorothy N. Travis, age 78, of Paris, TN will be conducted on Monday, October 18, 2010 at 3:00 P.M. at McEvoy Funeral Home with burial to follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery in Paris, TN. Visitation will be on Sunday, October 17, 2010 at McEvoy Funeral Home from 4:00-8:00 P.M. ant on Monday after 10:00 A.M. until service time at 3:00 P.M. Mrs. Travis married Mr. Willie Bill Roy Travis on October 22, 1957 who preceded her in February 1997. Mrs. Travis is survived by a daughter; Nell (David) Thompson, Buchanan, TN, sons; Bernard Buddy (Brenda Mosley) Smith, Pointblank, TX, Denman Smith, Steamboat, CO, step-son; Eugene Travis, Kentwood, LA, sister; Dell Cruse, Olla, LA, brothers; James Buford J.B. (Jeanette) Smith, LA, Clyde (Polly) Smith, MS, Cecil Smith, CA, grandchildren; Carol Smith, April (Anthony) Buie, Brandi (Charles) Bradford, Mark (Noel) Smith, Gene Smith, Brandon (Janice) Travis, great grandchildren; Andrea Hopkins, Christopher Hopkins, Angela Travis, Kelly Hicks, Charity Odom, Gayle Odom, Grace Bradford, Dagon Bradford, Maverick Buie, Terri Bradford, William Bradford, Talmage Smith, Bethany Smith, great great grandchildren; Logan Hopkins, special friends; Linda (Reggie) Elliott, Carrie Smith, Charma Elkins. Mrs. Travis loved gardening and working in her greenhouse. She was a Baptist by faith and was a homemaker who always put her familys need before her own.
