Mrs. Dorothy E. Miller Yoder, age 65, passed away on Friday, August 14, 2020 at her residence. Her outdoor funeral will be 6:00 P.M. on Tuesday, August 18, 2020 at Calvary Mennonite Church with Pastor Henry Nissley officiating. Burial will follow the service in New Boston Cemetery. Named as pallbearers are Samuel Miller, Titus Byler, Matthew Byler, Jeffery Yoder, Jacob Yoder and Kendall Yoder. Her outdoor visitation will begin at 2:00 P.M. until service time at the church. Mrs. Dorothy E. Miller Yoder was born July 26, 1955 in Oakland, MD to Joni E. Miller of Roodhouse, IL and to the late Lydia Schrock Miller. She married Norman D. Yoder on February 16, 1978 and he preceded her in death January 27, 2019. She is survived by daughters, JoAnna (Donald) Schrock of Green Ridge, MO, Keturah "Kaye" (Galen) Schrock of Paris, and Phyllis (Ethan) Mast of Lincoln, MO; sons, Olen (Charity) Yoder of Mt. Olive, MS, James (Elsie) Yoder of Paris, TN, Eugene (Caroline) Yoder of Southaven, MS, Philip Yoder of Macon, MS and Dennis (Rose) Yoder of Paris; twenty-three grandchildren survive; sisters, Sue (Wilmer) Byler of Mt. Sterling, IL, Elizabeth (Lavern) Yoder of Marion, KY and Barbara (Norman) Yoder of Roodhouse, IL; brothers, Herman (Ellen) Miller, Belleville, IL, Perry (Ruth) Miller of Sterling, IL and Nevin Miller of Olive Hill, TN; also many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. Mrs. Yoder was a member of Calvary Mennonite Church who fought and extended battle with Fahrs Disease.
