Funeral service 2:00PM Thursday at McEvoy Funeral Home with Bro. Roger Smith officiating, burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery. Named as pallbearers are Ricky Wilson, Chris Lewis, Calvin Morris, Ron Singleton, Nathan Whittier and Anthony Floyd. William Daniel Clayton will serve as an honorary pallbearer. Visitation 5:00 - 8:00PM Wednesday and after 11:00AM Thursday. She was born in Dyersburg to the late Dorsey Fitzhugh and Mildred Christian Pritchett. On September 2, 1966 she married William "Buddy" Morris, he survives in Paris. Survived by daughters: Melissa Kay Shafter, Pigeon Forge, Amanda Kay Clayton, Paris; sisters: Betty (Kenneth) Grant, Dresden, Marie Allen, McKenzie; great grandchildren: William Daniel Clayton, Kaleigh Lynn Whittier and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Kay was a homemaker, a wonderful cook who dearly loved her family and especially catered to her grandchildren. She was an animal lover who enjoyed her horses and was an expert marksman.
