Lifelong member of Poplar Grove Methodist Church, Dortha D. Parker, age 90 of Paris passed away Friday September 11, 2015 at Eiffel Gardens. Graveside service 10:00AM Wednesday September 16, 2015 at Poplar Grove Cemetery with Gary Collier officiating. No visitation is scheduled. She was born in Henry County, TN to the late Jerry R. and Nettie Hughes Parker. Survived by sisters-in-law: Huletta Parker, Delaware, Jean Parker, Hot Springs, AR, Dean Parker, Paris, TN; brothers: Billie R. Parker, Hot Springs, AR; nephews: Stephen Parker, New England, Tommy Parker, New England and several cousins. Preceded by a sister: Sylvia Dell Roberts; brothers: James L. Parker and Robert E. Parker. Dortha was the secretary for the Board of Education for many years.
