Dortha Virginia Ray, age 87, Mansfield, TN, died October 9, 2008 at Plumley Rehabilitation in Paris. Her funeral will be 3:00 PM Saturday at McEvoy Funeral Home with burial to follow in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 - 8:00 PM Friday and after 11:00 AM Saturday. She was the widow of Fred Ray who preceded February 6, 1995. She is survived by two daughters, Esta (Ranier) Wessalleck, NC, Barbara Moore, Erin, TN and preceded by a daughter, Luzella Ray at age 5, four sons, Aldren Bruce (Carolyn) Ray, NC, Robert Dean Ray, Mansfield, TN, Michael Ray, NC and Eugene Tracy (Joyce) Ray, Mansfield, TN, one sister, Ena (Wiley) Littrell, NC, preceded by two sisters, Daphna Moss and Neva Littrell, preceded by one brother, J.R. McKinney. She is survived by ten grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
