Douglas Adam Royal, age 44 passed away Monday, October 9, 2023, at the Bolivar General Hospital in Bolivar, TN. His funeral service will be at 11:00 AM Thursday, October 19th at McEvoy Funeral Home with Melanie Denton officiating. Cremation will follow the service. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 PM Wednesday and after 10:00 AM Thursday at McEvoy Funeral Home. Douglas Adam Royal was born August 27, 1979, in Phoenix, AZ to the late Eugene Royal, Jr. and the late Pamela York Royal. On August 17, 2020, he married Michele Royal, who survives in Paris, TN. Doug was known as the man who would give you the shoes off his feet. He is survived by two daughters, Lochlain Royal of Huntingdon, TN and Jayleigh Arnold of Troy, TN; a son, Ryder Royal of Huntingdon, TN; three stepdaughters: Jerica Porter of Hollow Rock, TN, Zoe Calloway of Huntingdon, TN and Brittany Robbins of Camden, TN; a stepson, Jay Porter of Paris, TN; one brother, Billy Royal of Arlington Heights, IL; and four grandchildren.
