DuRoy "Roy" Cole, age 74 of Buchanan, Tennessee passed away on Sunday, February 11, 2018 at his residence. His body is to be cremated and a memorial service will be planned for a later date. Roy Cole was born on August 31, 1943 in Paris, Tennessee to the late Hershel Cole and the late Mary Catherine Hoofman Cole. He married Shirley Rodgers Cole on October 2, 1961 and she preceded him in death on October 31, 2012. Mr. Cole is survived by his daughters: Linda (Jimmy) Witherspoon and Debbie Tanner both of Paris; grandchildren: Johnny and William Marrs, Catherine Cole, Josh and Carla Stout, Vicky Bradley, Jimmy and Austin Witherspoon; sixteen great grandchildren; an aunt: Margaret Flood; and numerous cousins. Mr. Cole was a longtime member of Faith Missionary Baptist Church in Hazel, Kentucky. He worked and retired from B & D Trucking with over twenty years of service. Roy is also survived by his faithful companion "Charcoal".
