Mr. Earl Thomas Carter, age 88, died Tuesday at his residence. His funeral will be 11:00 AM Friday at McEvoy Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Manley's Chapel Church cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 - 8:00 PM Thursday and after 10:00 AM Friday. He is survived by his wife, Fay Ridley Carter, they were married September 21, 1940. He is also survived by daughter, Barbara (Reed) Rose, grandchildren, Mike (Amy) Rose, Tamara (Jeff) Paschall, great grandchildren, Alan (Amanda) Paschall, Eric Paschall, John Thomas Rose, Charlie Rose, great-great grandchild, Allie Paschall, all of Paris. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
