Earl Ray Elkins, age 65 of Union City, formerly of Paris passed away Tuesday, April 28, 2020 at The Waters of Union City. His body is to be cremated and no service is scheduled per his request. Earl Ray Elkins was born April 23, 1955 in Paris, Tennessee to the late Bobby Ray Elkins and the late Dorthey Louise Raymer Elkins. He is survived by two brothers: Terry Lee Elkins and Allen Elkins, both of Union City, Tennessee. Besides his parents, Earl was also preceded in death by two brothers: Jeffrey Lynn Elkins and James Melvin Elkins; and a sister-in-law, Teresa Marie Overby Elkins. Mr. Elkins lived in Paris until 2017 when he moved to Union City to be near his family. He was a former mason with Elkins Construction and he served a short stent in the National Guard. His hobbies were computer and electronic repair and cooking (he was best known for his lasagna). He was an avid lover of the Beatles, mushroom-swiss burgers, and banana milkshakes. His favorite quote was "Don't worry, be happy".
