Funeral service 1:00PM Wednesday at McEvoy Funeral Home with Bro. Maley Davidson of Nelson Creek Primitive Baptist Church officiating burial will follow at Hansel Cemetery. Named as pallbearers are Charles McDaniel, Jason McDaniel, Gordon Owen, Carroll Griffin and Ryan Blount. Honorary pallbearers are Reed Gamble and David Harrison. Visitation 4:00 - 7:00PM Tuesday and after 12:00Noon Wednesday. Born in Paris, TN to the late Jesse and Zula Hansel McDaniel. He married Janette Ealey McDaniel May 23, 1942, she survives in Paris. Survived by a daughter: Patsy (Steve) Blount, Paris; son: Charles (Sandra) McDaniel, Paris; grandchildren: Jason (Alex) McDaniel, Paris, Callie Marie Blount, Spring Hill, Ryan Allen (Kristin) Blount, Clarksville; great-grandchildren: Kinsey Mae Blount, Khloe Lyn Blount, William Jason McDaniel and Knox Benton Blount. Mr. McDaniel served in WWII from 1942 - 1945 in the Military Police with 1 year in England, 1 year in France and 6 months in Belgium. He was a member of Nelson Creek Primitive Baptist Church, attended the original India School, attended agricultural school, worked for the railroad, was a farmer and he was the owner of a Century Farm dating back to 1823.
