Mr. Cook was born in Dyer County, TN to the late Freddie Elbert and Dona Lee Williamson Cook, also preceded by his wife Dorothy Hogan Cook and twin sister Ava Faye Cook. Survived by a step-daughter: Dianna Schultz, Morristown,; step-son: Leonard Briggs, Jefferson City; sisters: Rose Preslar, Paris, Jane (Jerry) Fowler, Dyersburg and a brother: Joe (Linda) Cook, Rio Rancho, NM.
