Edith Murphy Blankenship, age 85, passed away on Sunday, March 23, 2025 at her residence. Her body is to be cremated and a celebration of life will be planned for a later date. Edith was born November 7, 1939 in Boston, Massachusetts to the late James P. Murphy and the late Edith F. Kingham Murphy. She married Daniel Chester Blankenship on May 13, 1977 and he preceded her in death. She is survived by her son, Daniel "Dan" Blankenship of Paris. Besides her parents and husband, Edith is also preceded in death by her sister, Frances Murphy and her brother, James Murphy.
