Retired Sears & Roebuck employee Edna Owens Snow Keel, 96, died Friday, April 24, 2015 at Morningside of Paris. Mrs. Keel was a member of Eastern Star and also Decatur Trinity Christian Church in Memphis, TN. Visitation will be Sunday April 26, 2015 12:00Noon until service time at 2:00PM at McEvoy Funeral Home, her nephew Dale Hamilton will officiate, burial will follow at Maplewood Cemetery. Named as pallbearers are Dale Hamilton, Dan Jackson, Mike Jackson, David Brown, David Sullivan and Ernie Veglio. Keel was born July 18, 1918 in Buchanan, TN to the late Ed and Laura Winchester Owens. She was married August 28, 1943 to Dumas Snow, who preceded February 13, 1975. She later married James Paul Keel on September 17, 1993 and he preceded July 3, 2000. She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews including local nieces: Martha (Kent) Jackson, Sue (Ron) Brown, Carolyn Stamps, Connie (Elwood) Maxwell and a step-daughter: June Keel. Mrs. Keel was preceded by six sisters: Annie Stubblefield, Mina Conors, Esther McDowell, Lula Campbell, Helen Jackson, Ruthie Cole and two brothers: D.B. Owens and Carl Owens.
