Mrs. Edna M. Lewis, age 79, of Paris, TN died Thursday, March 3, 2011 at Saint Thomas Hospital in Nashville, TN. Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday, March 6, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at McEvoy Funeral Home with burial to follow in Bethesda Cemetery; Dr. Gary S Collier will officiate. Visitation will be on Saturday evening at McEvoy Funeral Home from 4-8 p.m. and after 10:00 a.m. on Sunday until service time. Mrs. Edna was married on February 12, 1949 to Earl L. Lewis who preceded her in death on October 13, 2005. Mrs. Lewis is survived by sons; Terry Lewis, Paris, TN, Eddie Edward (Debbie) Lewis, Puryear, TN, grandchildren; Earl Reed Lewis, Ryan Lewis, Candace Lewis, Amber, Mae Lewis, Joseph Frank James and Karen Lewis. She was preceded in death by parents; Earl J. and Margaret Fitzgerald Lewis, sisters; Margaret Seaver, Virginia Thompson, Pat Fitzgerald and brother; Jerry Fitzgerald. Mrs. Lewis was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Paris and was a long time employee of Jim Adams IGA in the General Office. She was a former co-owner of Paris Lanes with her husband Earl Lewis.
