Funeral service 2:00PM Tuesday June 16, 2015 at McEvoy Funeral Home with Bro. Brian Wimberley officiating, burial will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Named as pallbearers are Dan Townsend, Ronnie Reeves, Alec Bomar, Paul Clendenin, Glen Pafford, Bill Pafford, David Smith and Danny Smith. Lynn Luedecke, Brent Price, Will Weddington and Troy Coleman will serve as honorary pallbearers. Visitation 1:00PM Tuesday until service time. Mr. Clement was born in Springville, TN to the late Seaborn Glen and Mary Elizabeth Farmer Clement. On November 24, 1949 he married Diana Elizabeth Smith Clement, she survives. Survived by sons: Jim (Connie) Clement, Jackson, TN, Tommy Clement, Jackson, TN, Gerald Clement, Jackson, TN; sisters: Virginia Clendenin, Martin, TN, Catherine Pafford, Nashville, TN, Ann Smith, Cordova, TN, June Rawls, Greenfield, TN; grandchildren: Jenny Koebernick, Julie Price, Sara Luedecke, Catherine Weddington, Emily Clement, Ashley Coleman, Lee Clement; great-grandchildren: Maddie, Sophie and James Luedecke, Ava and Ruthie Price, Olive and Iris Koebernick; sisters-in-law: Barbara Muzzall, Marilyn Townsend, Crystel Smith and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceded by a sister: Theresa Veazey. Mr. Clement was raised on a farm and graduated from Springville High School. He was inducted into the Army Air Corp in 1943. He worked for TVA in New Johnsonville and retired from Shelby County Building Code enforcement. Edward was a member of Springville Masonic Lodge #130 since May 17th, 1952 where he was a Master Mason. He was an avid gardener who enjoyed retirement and especially his family.
