Edward M. Pike, Jr.

Edward M. Pike, Jr., age 60 of Buchanan, Tennessee passed away on Wednesday, November 9, 2022 at his residence. His funeral arrangements are incomplete at this time but will be announced later. Washington St., Paris, Tennessee. Edward Melvin Pike, Jr. was born May 11, 1962 in Memphis, Tennessee to the late Edward M. Pike, Sr. and the late Patricia Sue Austin Gitchell. He married Carol Church Pike on May 12, 2007 and she survives in Buchanan. Edward is also survived by sons, Tyler Clark Pike of Buchanan and Jason Wurtzinger of Puryear; and a sister, Pamela Michelle Allen of Ripley, TN. Besides his parents, Edward is also preceded in death by his daughter, Heather Nichole Pike and his brother, Wayne Austin Pike. Edward was a U.S. Marine Corp Veteran. He worked as a manager for BP, Waffle House and numerous other places but worked and retired as Head Chef from the Opryland Hotel with twenty one years of service. He was a Southern Baptist by faith who loved the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing.
