Elizabeth Ann Walk Smith, age 82 of Paris, TN passed away Monday, March 28, 2016 at Henry County Medical Center in Paris. Her funeral service will be Saturday, April 2, 2016 at East Wood Church of Christ with Bro. Victor Eskew and her grandson Bro. Jonathan Smith officiating. Burial will follow at 3:30 PM at Covington Memorial Gardens in Covington, TN. Visitation will be from 4:00-7:00 PM Friday, April 1, 2016 at McEvoy Funeral Home and after 9:00 AM Saturday at East Wood Church of Christ. Elizabeth was born July 22, 1933 to the late A.G. Walk and Beulah McDow Walk. She is survived by two sons; Jason "Jay" (Sandra) Smith of Paris, TN and Tim (Tammy) Smith of Manchester, TN. She is also survived by six grandchildren; Katherine Smith, Jonathan Smith, Heather Smith, Britney Smith, Tiffany Smith, and T.J. Smith. Mrs. Smith was a longtime member of East Wood Church of Christ. She worked and retired as a teacher at Ripley High School and the Lauderdale County School System. Elizabeth loved her family and her church family. She was a positive inspiration to everyone who visited her or knew her.
