Ellen Waldrop Wimberley, age 75 of Paris passed away Wednesday, February 20, 2019 at Henry County Medical Center. Her body is to be cremated and a service will be held at a later date. Ellen Waldrop Wimberley was born February 24, 1943 in Fairfax, Alabama to the late Hoyt Waldrop and the late Cleone Fuller Waldrop. On October 13, 1969 she married Larry Dale Wimberley and he preceded her in death on November 14, 2015. Ms. Wimberley is survived by one daughter, Nicole (Justin) Taylor of Paris, TN; three sons: Dale (Sandy) Wimberley of Verbena, AL, Gerald Wimberley of Cookeville, TN and Chris (John) Wimberley of Paris, TN; four grandchildren: Tiffany (Cade) Williams, John (Sara) Witherspoon, Alyson Priddy, and Sebastian Wimberley; one sister, Kathryn Waldrop; and special cousins, Randy & Kathy Overcast. Besides her parents and husband, Ms. Wimberley was also preceded in death by a sister, Raynell Tyson, and three brothers: Winford Waldrop, Hoyt Waldrop Jr., and Tommy Gene Waldrop.
