Elma "Louise" Kinley Washum, age 90 of Murray, Kentucky passed away on Tuesday, April 7, 2020 at Henry County Healthcare Center. A private graveside service will be held for the immediate family. Elma Louise Kinley Washum was born July 18, 1929 in Paris, Tennessee to the late Wade Kinley and the late Jessie B. Willis Kinley. She married Ernest N. Washum on March 29, 1947 and he preceded her in death on September 12, 1988. He is survived by daughters, Jo Carolyn (Eddie) Dupree of Bruceton, Debbie (Charles) Cowan and Erica (J.W.) Foster all of Paris; son, Timothy (Theresa) Washum of Murray, KY; twelve grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren; and a brother, Charles Michael Kinley of Paris. Besides her parents and husband, Ms. Washum is also preceded in death by one daughter, Patricia Washum; two sons, Antonio Washum and Hiram Washum; four sisters, Ophelia Williams, Carrie Dantzer, Sue Bell Payne, and Mary Elizabeth Dolberry; and one brother, Wade Kinley, Jr. Ms. Washum was a very active member of The Church of the Living God. She was a devoted wife and mother who loved her family and church family. A family member said that she always put other's needs before that of her own.
