Funeral service 1:00PM Wednesday at McEvoy Funeral Home, Jason Hart (grandson), Keith Hart (grandson) and Mackie Gallimore (son-in-law) officiating, burial will follow at Bethany Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Thomas Glass, David McAlpin, Gary Ison, Herman Jackson, Lavelle Davidson and Randall Foster. Visitation 4:00 - 8:00PM Tuesday and after 10:00AM Wednesday. She was born in Clay County, TN to the late Luther and Ozy Smith McAlpin. She married John William Leckie December 13, 1943, he preceded February 18, 1999. Survived by daughters: Patty (Wayne) Hart, Paris, TN, Wanda (Mackie) Gallimore, Puryear, TN; son: Glenn Leckie, Murray, KY; sister: Louise Webb, Frankfort, KY; grandchildren: Keith (Julie) Hart, Jason (Jennifer) Hart; step-grandchildren: Mitch (Sandy) Gallimore, Jeff (Melissa) Gallimore; great-grandchildren: John Austin, Anna Grace and Ava Beth Hart, Daniel, Micah and Jaycee Hart; step great-grandchildren: Ben, John and Jimmy Gallimore. Preceded by brothers: Amos, Ezra, Lester, Louis, Cecil and Wayne McAlpin. Mrs. Leckie was a member of the East Wood Street Church of Christ. She was a seamstress and did alterations part time for Bon Ton Cleaners.
