Mr. Elwood "Chubby" Walters age 81 of Springville, TN, passed away Wednesday, October 24, 2018, at his residence. A visitation is set for Saturday, October 27, 2018 from 5-8 PM with a few words of remembrance at 6:30 PM with Rev. Gary Collier officiating. Mr. Walters will be cremated with burial at Walters Cemetery at a later date. Elwood "Chubby" Walters was born March 27, 1937 in Henry County, TN to the late Earl and Louise Fitch Walters. Mr. Walters is survived by daughter Dawn (Randell Wagnon) Baker of Athens, AL; two sons: Chad Walters of Huntsville, AL and Tyron (Jessi) Walters of Springville, TN; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded by one grandchild. Chubby owned and operated Walters Logging Company for many years and he was a United States Army Veteran.
